1890 in which it is proposed that the War Office should contribute to the Cost of a survey of Hong Kong on a large scale.
In reply I am to point out that the War Office is already in possession of a triangulated survey of the island of Hong Kong on a scale of 4 inches to the mile, and Mr. Stanhope considers that having regard to the limited area of the
